With Indian mobile subscriber base increasing by approx 8 million per month, Government and regulator are thinking of 11 digit mobile numbers in India. Currently in India we have 10 digit numbers and India had around 237 million mobile subscribers by end of 2007. 2008 will be interesting year for India as it will have second largest pool of mobile users after China as India will surpass USA's 257 million pool.
